MAELA: SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY
At Maela, we understand that you are excited to receive your jewelry. We partner with India’s leading logistics providers to ensure your package reaches you safely and as quickly as possible.
1. Order Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days.

Orders placed on Sundays or Public Holidays will be processed on the next business day.

You will receive a confirmation email and SMS once your order is placed.
2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
We offer Free Shipping on all prepaid orders across India.

Note: Delivery to remote locations or during peak festive seasons may take an additional 2-3 business days.
3. Tracking Your Order
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email OR a WhatsApp/SMS notification containing your Tracking ID and a link to track your package in real-time.
4. Shipping Security & Tampering
To ensure your jewelry reaches you in perfect condition:

Every Maela order is shipped in Tamper-Evident packaging.

Do Not Accept the package if the outer courier bag is open, torn, or has been resealed with tape.

As stated in our Return Policy, we strictly require a Mandatory Unboxing Video to assist you in case of any transit-related damage or missing items.
5. Cash on Delivery (COD) Policy

To ensure the security of our logistics chain, we may call you to verify your COD order before dispatch.

Please ensure you are available at the provided address to receive the package. Multiple failed delivery attempts will result in the order being returned to us, and future COD services may be restricted for that account.
6. Address Changes & Undelivered Packages

Address Changes: If you need to change your shipping address, please contact us at support@maela.in within 12 hours of placing the order. Once dispatched, we cannot reroute the package.

Returned to Origin (RTO): If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or unavailability, we will reach out to you to arrange a second delivery. Please note that additional shipping charges may apply for the second attempt.
7. International Shipping
Currently, Maela ships primarily within India.
8. Lost or Damaged Packages
In the rare event that a package is lost in transit, Maela will take full responsibility and either send a replacement or issue a full refund after the logistics provider confirms the loss.
