Maela Ring Size Guide
Finding the perfect fit for your jewelry is essential. Follow our simple guide below to find your Maela ring size accurately.
1. The Maela Size Chart
We use US/Canada Standard sizing, which is most common for minimalist and d2c jewelry. Use the table below to find your size based on the inner diameter of a ring you already own or your finger's circumference.
| US Size | Inner Diameter (mm) | Circumference (mm) | Indian Size (Approx) |
| 5 | 15.7 mm | 49.3 mm | 9 |
| 6 | 16.5 mm | 51.9 mm | 11 - 12 |
| 7 | 17.3 mm | 54.4 mm | 14 |
| 8 | 18.1 mm | 57.0 mm | 16 - 17 |
| 9 | 19.0 mm | 59.5 mm | 19 |
| 10 | 19.8 mm | 62.1 mm | 21 - 22 |
2. How to Measure at Home
If you don't know your size, use one of these two easy methods.
Method A: Measure an Existing Ring (Most Accurate)
-
Pick a ring that fits the intended finger perfectly.
-
Use a ruler to measure the inside diameter of the ring in millimeters (mm). Do not include the metal of the ring, only the empty space inside.
-
Match that measurement to the "Inner Diameter" column in our chart above.
Method B: The Paper/String Method
-
Wrap a thin strip of paper or a piece of string around the base of the finger you want to measure.
-
Mark the point where the ends meet.
-
Measure the length of the paper/string in millimeters with a ruler—this is your Circumference.
-
Match this to the "Circumference" column in the chart above.
3. Maela Pro-Tips for the Perfect Fit
-
Temperature Matters: Fingers tend to be smaller in the morning or when cold. Measure your finger at the end of the day when they are at their largest.
-
Knuckle Check: If your knuckle is significantly larger than the base of your finger, measure both and choose a size that falls in between so the ring can slide over the knuckle but won't be too loose.
-
Stacking Tip: If you are buying a wider band or plan to stack multiple rings together, consider going one size up for a more comfortable fit.
Maela Necklace Size Guide
Choosing the right necklace length depends on your neck size, height, and the neckline of your outfit. Use this guide to find your signature look.
1. Necklace Length Chart
Standard Maela necklaces come in these common lengths:
| Length (Inches) | Length (cm) | Style Name | Where it Sits |
| 14" | 35 cm | Choker | Sits tightly around the base of the throat. |
| 16" | 40 cm | Collar | Sits at the base of the neck (above the collarbone). |
| 18" | 45 cm | Princess | Our Most Popular. Hangs just below the collarbone. |
| 20" | 50 cm | Matinee | Sits a few inches below the collarbone. |
| 24" | 60 cm | Opera | Hangs at or just below the bust line. |
2. How to Measure
-
Use an existing necklace: Measure a necklace you already love from end to end (including the clasp) using a ruler.
-
Use a string: Wrap a piece of string around your neck at the level where you want the necklace to sit. Measure that string length on a ruler.
-
Add for Pendants: If you are buying a pendant, remember that the pendant will hang below the chain length.
Maela Bracelet Size Guide
A well-fitted bracelet should have a little bit of "play" so it can move slightly on your wrist without sliding off.
1. Bracelet Size Chart
Measure your wrist and add 1.5 cm to 2 cm for a comfortable fit.
| Wrist Size | Recommended For | |
| 14 cm - 15 cm | Petite wrists | |
| 16 cm - 17 cm | Standard Fit | |
| 18 cm - 19 cm | Relaxed fit / Larger wrists |
2. How to Measure Your Wrist
-
Step 1: Use a flexible measuring tape or a strip of paper.
-
Step 2: Wrap it just below the wrist bone (where you would normally wear a bracelet).
-
Step 3: If using paper, mark the overlap and measure it against a ruler.
-
Step 4: Add extra length. * For a Snug Fit: Add 1 cm.
-
For a Comfort Fit: Add 2 cm.
-
For a Loose Fit: Add 3 cm.
-
3. Bangle Sizing (Rigid)
Since bangles must slide over your hand, you need to measure your hand width, not your wrist.
-
Tuck your thumb into your palm (as if putting on a bangle).
-
Measure the circumference of your hand at the widest point (across the knuckles).
-
Compare that measurement to the diameter of the bangle.
